GIVING LOCALLY COMPONENT OF LENT AT FAITH
2022

Lent is a season of self-examination, prayer, and concrete action.  For centuries, Christians have used this “penitential” season to prepare for Jesus’ resurrection through spiritual disciplines that center God’s work in our lives and in the world.

This Lent, Faith is Giving Locally as we prepare ourselves again for God’s Good News.  By Giving Locally, we are reminded that we all have a part in God’s Good News right here and now.  Rather than giving something up for Lent, locally we’ll be supporting Hometown Resource Center right here in St. Charles. The calendar below provides ideas of things that can be donated and that will be collected throughout Lent at Faith.
